We are having a snow day in the DC area today, the mess (I mean gorgeousness) started on Sunday with Ice, gave us a break yesterday, and hit today with a nice blanket of fluffy white thick stuff! Dropping about 5 inches! With this happy snow that always puts you in a winter spirit no matter how cold I thought I should update the bucket list! Crossed two more things off the list! Happy snow day to you if you are having one!
Now onto my Winter Bucket List!
Buy and Decorate our Christmas tree
Watch the movie “Elf”
Decorate our house — We scored on a cool deal at Whole foods purchasing a bundle with the Tree, Wreath, and Garland
Cook warm delicious food —
Chili, Soups, roasted veggies, the list keeps growing Play in the SNOW –– we got our first snow storm in the last 48 hours! It has kept the federal government from working and the majority of the city just staying home and working from there!
Go to see the Zoo Lights — we fit this in last weekend even though Dan had to work both Saturday and Sunday! It was tons of fun a quick trip but a nice little date night to get out of the house! and it was FREE!!!
National Christmas Tree — hoping to squeeze this in
Finish our honeymoon album — its our Christmas present this year to ourselves
Make our 2013 book
Recycle dead Christmas lights — it’s Murphy’s law right that every year you have millions of dead lights and 100 working lights
Cook yummy sweets
Drink lots of Cocoa
Make LARGE strides in our renovation
Travel home/relax for the holiday seeing friends loving on family and hopefully playing in the snow
