We have been on a concert roll lately! Last night we got to check off our bucket list the U2 360 tour! It was AMMMMAAAZZZINNNGGG! and that doesn’t even explain it all!
I did not know what to expect, but I will say it was everything I expected and MORE! I do not even know if I can explain the awesomeness of it, but it was awesome! The whole band is amazing everything they sing and say! I know I know I probably just jumped on the U2 train but I am OK with it! Including in all the awesomeness he dedicated “Its a Beautiful Day” to Gabby Giffords, and the best part was that Mark her husband started the song with a recording from space :) It is indescribable! They also dedicated “One Love” to the entire stadium and all of our fans with a kick off to the song by a great recording from Nelson Mandela. There were other dedications one including Clarence Clemmons. Absolutely great! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I did not take my best camera, just the good ole phone so the photos and videos are not great but it is something to remember it by! Enjoy!
Florence and the Machine opened for U2
Here is the full stage! It was amazing how it was built and the structure of how all the lights, screens, speakers, etc were!
while we waited they ran many statistics and times of day around the world
So as the concert started they put Bono, The Edge and the rest of the band on the big screen so we could watch them walk through the tunnel!
walking out to a full house!
The start of the first song !
…more of the first song!
the screen separated out and there were then words running around the sides it was amazing!
lastly here is a link to the videos! This is just one of them but you can click on my name (rachharrod) to see the rest!
Needless to say it was an amazing night and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
